Microsoft announced personal features on the Microsoft Teams desktop, mobile and web on May 17 (local time). Personal Teams, which anyone can use for free, has launched a mobile version preview released in March 2020 in June. It was officially released after a year of preview.
Teams had a free plan so far, but it was always a business test. Personal Teams released this time is a little different from the business version, such as the missing team function, so its main purpose is to share video calls, chats, and To-Do lists with family and friends.

In Personal Teams, 1:1 video calls can be used for up to 24 hours. Group calls of 3 or more people can be used free of charge for up to 60 minutes for up to 100 people. However, considering the Corona 19 disaster situation, up to 300 people can use up to 24 hours free calls.
You can also use Together mode, where you can make video calls with the feeling of being in the same space. According to Microsoft, it works less for the brain and relieves fatigue than standard video calls. You can also use live emoticons and GIFs to respond to conversations during a video call. It can also be used in situations where you cannot speak at a coffee shop or at work. In addition, it has the ability to create a shared Todo list in group chat and assign tasks to group users, or to vote when the group needs to adjust the schedule.

It can be said that it aims to serve as a communication hub that can be used by individuals and families beyond simple video calling and chat functions. Related information can be found here.
