iOS version of Outlook with enhanced voice operation

Outlook, an email information management application developed by Microsoft, responded to Cortana, a voice AI assistant in 2019. Two years later, Microsoft added the ability to read emails, schedule meetings, and search by voice operation to the iOS version of Outlook.

If you choose the voice-controlled feature, you instruct Corona to ask for the next meeting time or create a schedule for the next week. It is also possible to nominate invitees when entering an appointment. You can also specify an attachment to a voice email or compose a new email using the voice-to-text feature.

To this day, Microsoft has strengthened its voice functions by embedding the Play My Emails function in its Outlook mobile app. In this update, you can say that almost all parts of Outlook Mobile are equipped with voice functions.

Also, supporting this voice manipulation function is a tool called Microsoft Graph, which provides APIs that are integrated with each of the cloud services related to Office 365. These APIs provide detailed conveniences such as providing contexts that require voice support, Corona attaching to calendars, and pulling spellings from the address book.

However, Microsoft stopped providing Cortana, a voice AI function for iOS and Android, in March. The move reflects Microsoft’s intention to provide Cortana as a tool that focuses on improving user productivity, rather than responding to all manipulations, such as Siri and Alexa. I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
