Twitter opens the ability to delete followers without blocking

Twitter has opened the ability to delete followers without blocking to all Twitter users.

This feature is available on the web version of Twitter. You can choose to delete followers by opening the Followers tab on your profile screen and tapping the three dots next to the name of the follower you want to delete. Until now, you had to block someone to remove a follower. This method reduces the possibility of anger at the deleted user in that it can delete a follower more smoothly than blocking, and from the Twitter side, it can be carried out as part of a countermeasure against sexual harassment. What’s more, this method doesn’t prevent someone you’ve removed from your follower list from seeing your public tweets.

In addition, Twitter is strengthening measures against sexual harassment by testing a filter function that automatically restricts sexual harassment mentions and a safe mode that automatically blocks unexpected comments from outside the followers.
