Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV have been delayed

Activision Blizzard has announced that it will be delaying new games such as Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV. It’s easy to imagine that Blizzard has been embroiled in sexual harassment lawsuits over the past few months and the team is under a lot of stress. The company said in its Q3 2021 earnings report that it plans to continue providing more content in 2021, but it has decided to postpone the release of the two new titles to give the development team more time.

These two titles were showcased at BlizzCon 2019 and were scheduled for release in 2021. However, Activision Blizzard announced earlier this year that the two titles will not be released in 2021. Activision Blizzard announced that Jen Oneal, who has been co-CEO since August, will step down and leave the company at the end of the year. Co-CEO Mike Ybarra remains with the company. I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
