Flight taxi under development by UK startup

A new flight taxi project is underway. British startup Vertical Aerospace is the main character. Founded in Bristol, England, the company is developing electric vertical landing and landing eVTOL taxis.

Vertical Aerospace is developing a flight taxi that weighs 750kg and has four passengers. He has been conducting flight tests in June and plans to start flying taxis in the UK in 2022. The company’s founder, Fitzpatrick, is from OVO Energy, a power gas company, with 28 engineers and experts working on the development. This includes F1 racing engineers. Because F1 racing itself considers aerodynamics considerably. It is applicable to light gas and electric control system based on aerodynamics, and it is applied to development process.

This flying taxi uses four propellers to fly through the sky. Companies such as Uber or China Baihang 184 are already working on a flight taxi. For more information, please click here .
