Volvo expects transportation demand to grow significantly globally over the next decade and sees the need for a transportation system that can leverage existing infrastructure efficiently. From this point of view, it is necessary to use a new concept of self-propelled electric truck that can run on existing roads regardless of day or night by using an electric vehicle which does not emit exhaust gas.

Not only has Volvo developed the Highway Assist function, but it has also begun developing electric trucks. He said he would start selling it next year from early this year.
