“Block Chain Drug Tracking Solution”

The company announced that it has launched the JD Medicine Open Tracking Solution based on block-chain technology to provide pharmaceutical supply chain transparency in the Chinese market.

The solution, announced during the Big Data Summit in Beijing, China, is available from the JD Blockchain Open Platform. It is intended to provide transparent information to dispel concerns about the authenticity of medicines. It includes all stages of production, transportation, storage, and sales, as well as improved data collection efficiency by utilizing the user interface and the Internet.

The reason for this solution is due to the recent accident in the Chinese market. Concerns about the safety and source of the drug in China have been growing since the expiration date or the use of an under-safety vaccine.
