The Jetson Nano is an AI system board with 128-core GPUs announced during NVIDIA’s GTC (GPU Technology Conference) conference held on March 19 (local time).
The JetSnano is an ultra-compact board measuring just 69.6 x 45mm and available for $ 99. The module size of the Jetsun Nano is just a credit card, much smaller than the existing Jetson TX. It is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand so you can expect to use it in various devices.
The product is divided into two modules and a development kit. The development kit for the manufacturer is $ 99, and modules can be purchased for $ 129 in 1,000-unit quantities. It has a 4-core ARM Cortex-A57 processor, a 128-core NVIDIA Maxwell architecture-based GPU, and 4GB of LRDDR RAM, enabling a 472-gigaflops computing environment.
JetSnano also supports a variety of AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, Keras, and MXNet), so many algorithms can run in plug and play. Nvidia expects the product to extend AI hardware development to new users. The product will start selling in June. For more information, please click here .
