AI, teamwork in Quake 3

DeepMind, an alphabetic artificial intelligence company, designed an AI system that could master the Capture the Flag mode of the famous FPS game Quake 3. This system is an AI agent playing against a human opponent as a player.

The AI agent said that if a human athlete had played a battle over a four-year period in a matter of weeks. Initially, the AI players simply moved randomly. However, he repeatedly learned that he was able to acquire rules and technical strategies, ultimately acquire skills that are comparable to humans, and demonstrate teamwork with colleagues.

Deep minds like AI in a game like Quake 3 or StarCraft 2 can be used in robots and autonomous vehicles in the future.

Experts point out, however, that the deep – minded AI only responds to situations that occur in certain games. In the real world, the situation is completely different from the movement of people and animals without patterns. For this reason, even though Deep Mind’s AI has exerted tremendous power in multiplayer games, it may not be so surprising. For more information, please click here .

I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
