The Mars probe, Curiosity, has discovered a sparkling rock on Mars surface in the past. However, this time, he caught a mysterious object shining far away in a landscape photograph.
The shooting date is June 16th. According to NASA, the equipment used is called Light B on the right side of the wide-angle navigation camera (Navcam) that takes black and white photographs.
At first glance, it looks like a UFO floating on a hill, and it gives a feeling like a Mars base made in the distant desert. It seems to be different from the camera lens flare, and I feel like intense light reflected. I shot the same picture several times, but it was not taken anywhere else.
NASA thinks this is a high probability of high energy radiation coming from outer space. The Mars atmosphere is thinner than Earth, so it is not unusual for this phenomenon to occur. Of course, it is possible that the shiny rocks were reflecting the sunlight. Anyway, it is said that there is not a small number of cases where something is sparkling in these photographs.
