IPhone is a student ID? Expanded to 12 US universities

Some universities in the U.S. use Apple Wallet as an electronic student ID for personal authentication and payment. Accordingly, with an iPhone, you can enter university facilities, use the gym, and have lunch.

This electronic student ID was introduced at seven universities last year. But starting this year, the target will be expanded further. Clemson University and Georgetown University, University of Tennessee, University of Kentucky, University of San Francisco, University of Vermont, Arkansas State University, South Dakota State University, Norfolk State University, Lewisburg College, North Alabama University, this year are introducing this system. There are 12 locations including Chowan University.

Accordingly, from this year, more than 100,000 college students will be able to put their student IDs on the iPhone or Apple Watch. Even without carrying a wallet, you can always use all the facilities in the university without a real card. Related information can be found here .
