Fly surfboard failed across the English Channel

Frankie Zathapa took a flying surfboard, Flyboard Air, to cross the English Channel on July 25, but crashed into the sea. He was immediately rescued by a nearby boat and said to be safe.

During this year’s F1 France GP, Frankie Zathapa performed a performance of delivering the championship trophy, or flying in front of President Macron in France on July 14th. Flyboard Air is a flying board that uses four jet engines to balance and fly like a drone. Due to its high safety using four engines, it has the ability to continue flying even if one engine fails. But you need fuel to run the engine. When crossing the English Channel, it was necessary to make a temporary landing on the boat for intermediate refueling, but Frankie Zathapa, who misunderstood the landing point by glance, lost balance and fell into the sea.

He passively guessed in advance that the chances of success of this challenge were 30%, but this prediction was finally correct. Of course, the crossing of the English Channel ended in failure, but French military authorities are said to be interested in Flyboard Air. DGA, the armament procurement unit, said it has decided to raise 1.3 million euros to make the technology available for use as a flight logistics platform or for attack. I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
