Google “AR objects in real space… ”

There are several apps that scribble or create objects in AR or VR spaces, including Google Tilt Brush. But basically, you can only enjoy it on the spot. Of course, there are things that can be experienced by several people, although it is temporary, like Google Just a Line. What makes this happen is thanks to a feature called Cloud Anchors.

This function is a structure for sharing the AR environment across multiple devices, but basically, it can only be shared in a one-time local environment. In contrast, the permanent cloud anchor function aims to store objects in the AR environment in place. Google explained that this feature can be used in a variety of ways, such as leaving an AR memo to a friend around the amusement park or hiding an AR object somewhere else to discover it. It means that other people can see the memo or object written in the AR space.

Of course, this idea itself is not new. Microsoft also uses it for holo lenses. A game like MineCraft Earth could be an example.

Google is already implementing such Mark AR through an app under development. Developers are also being recruited to continuously test cloud anchors at scale. Given this movement, new tags in the AR environment can also be realized quickly. Related information can be found here .
