SlimQ is a pocket-sized power adapter. It is an adapter using gallium nitride GaN. GaN (Gallium Nitride) is a colorless crystal obtained by reacting gallium and ammonia at 1,100 degrees. If GaN is used in transistors, the size can be further reduced and even heat generation can be lowered. GaN transistors have a higher power density than existing products, but have the advantage of being able to further reduce their size. Slim Q can take advantage of these advantages to reduce its size and expect high efficiency.
In fact, this product has a maximum output of 65W and can be charged in 1.4 hours even for products like the 13-inch MacBook Pro. It also has two terminals for Type C and Type A devices. Not many adapters employing GaN have two terminals. Type-C devices support PD 3.0, QC 3.0 and 2.0. Type A terminals support QC 3.0 and 2.0 0.5V/2.5A. For a Type C device, the maximum output is 65W, and if it is charged simultaneously with Type A, Type C is 45W and Type A is 18A. Even in this state, you can charge your laptop and the new iPad Pro at the same time.
Another advantage is that it does not interfere with the space around the outlet. Because it has a thin body. It weighs 91g, so it is portable.
