VersaillesVR is a VR headset app that allows you to enjoy the Palace of Versailles presented by Google in virtual reality. With Versailles VR, you can visit the Palace of Versailles at home and experience up to 340 works of art, including walls and ceilings, paintings, sculptures, and furniture, in virtual reality to experience the palace in Paris.

However, with Versailles VR, you can experience the Palace of Versailles with a 360-degree view. Instead of simply appreciating the decoration, you can control the controller to appreciate the fine art pieces.

The area captured for the production of Versailles VR covers 36,000m 2 including walls and ceilings. The number of photos taken to build a 3D model using photogrammetry was 132,000. You can see not only artwork, but also furniture in the Palace of Versailles, such as jewelry cabinets used by Marie Antoinette. In addition, you can experience the mirror corridor decorated with 357 mirrors and numerous artworks, and appreciate the delicate strokes of the paintings displayed in the palace gallery.
