Russia’s Moscow provincial authorities and dairy farmers are trying to make more milk by putting virtual reality headsets on cows and making them feel better. It is said to be an attempt based on the results of a study in the Netherlands and Scotland that raised cows in a calm environment to become an important factor in increasing milk production.
In wood crops that produce a lot of delicious milk, studies are being conducted to reduce livestock stress, such as shed classical music in a cowshed. It is not known whether the cow likes classical music or not, but if this actually produces good milk, the result ends satisfactorily. Just as humans tend to keep their mood sinking on cloudy days, cows can also produce less milk if they’re feeling down.
Moscow dairy farmers and administrative agencies have begun experiments to create virtual reality images of sunny summer pastures, optimized for the physical characteristics of livestock, and display them with specially designed headsets. At least, the cow is claiming to see behavior as intended, reducing stress and confirming behavior that appears to feel better.
But that’s all for the first exam. It is said that they have not yet been able to confirm whether or not there is a lot of milk by making them feel good through virtual reality images. It is said that a comprehensive research plan is being prepared to solve this question.
Rather than making a virtual reality headset tailored to the position of a cow’s eye, a simple question may arise, whether it is effective to simply stay on the open grassland. No matter how much virtual reality you show the blue sky and grassland, if you can’t eat it, the cow can get more stress. Also, moderate exercise can be a necessary factor for delicious milk.
