T-Mobile, an American mobile operator, has started 5G network services.
In the US, Verizon and Sprint already offer 5G services. In the case of AT&T, it is limited to general use and business customers in some regions. In contrast, T-Mobile’s 5G service uses the 600MHz band. Choosing a method that has advantages in coverage area over high-speed communication.
T-Mobile 5G service is available in more than 5,000 cities, including 200 million people, 60% of the total US population. It is available as a standard T-Mobile plan, and you don’t have to pay an extra fee.
T-Mobile has also begun reservations for OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren and Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Note 10+ 5G in line with the launch of 5G service. Both launch dates are December 6th and are priced at $900 and $1,300 respectively.
In this announcement, T-Mobile did not mention support for millimeter wave 5G service, and said this release is for early adopters. Nevertheless, it is a praiseworthy response that it has kept its promise to start 5G services in the United States by the end of this year. T-Mobile and Sprint are scheduled to merge in the future, so service areas can be expanded accordingly. Related information can be found here .
