5G models, etc… Nokia’s 3 new smartphones

HMD Global, which develops Nokia brand smartphones, announced three new smartphones, Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3, and Nokia 1.3.

Nokia 8.3 5G is a mid-range smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. It supports various 5G bands with Qualcomm 5G RF modem. The number of corresponding bands is greater than that of other 5G flagship models. It also announced HMD Connect, a data roaming service that supports 180 countries around the world. This service allows data communication to be used even on a mobile phone using a special SIM card. The roaming communication fee itself is not announced, but the 1GB bundle is said to be 9.95 euros.

The Nokia 8.3 5G supports 6.81 inches of display and 20:9 aspect ratio, and you can choose between 6GB and 8GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of storage space. On the back of the main body, in addition to the 64 megapixel main camera, four 12 megapixel ultra-wide angle, 2 megapixel macro, and 2 megapixel depth sensors are mounted. The front camera is 24 million pixels, and on the side of the body, it has a power button with a built-in fingerprint sensor and a Google Assistant button. Pricing starts at 599 euros and is scheduled for summer release.

Nokia 5.3 does not support 5G while equipped with 4 cameras. The display is 6.55 inches, the aspect ratio is 20:9, the processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, the RAM is 3 or 4GB, and you can choose between 64 and 128GB of internal storage. In addition to the 13-megapixel main camera on the back, it is equipped with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide angle, 2 megapixel macro, and 2 megapixel depth sensor, as well as an 8 megapixel camera on the front, a fingerprint sensor on the back, and a Google Assistant button on the side. The battery capacity is 4000mAh, supporting 22 hours of continuous talk time and 1875 days of standby time. The price is 189 euros for 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Nokia 1.3 adopted Android 10 Go, developed for low-end smartphones, as the operating system. Google Maps, Gmail, and Google Assistant are customized for low-end and traffic-restricted environments.

The display is 5.71 inches, the aspect ratio is 19:9, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space.
