Japanese avatar graduation ceremony in which robots attended

A graduation ceremony using robot avatars was held at BBT University in Japan. This university is 100% online where you can get your Bachelor of Business Administration MBA. The graduation ceremony was held on March 28th. It used a robot called newme developed by Avatarin, a subsidiary of ANA Holdings.

This graduation ceremony was held amid rising anxiety about Corona 19. Two of them from colleges and hospitals, four of them attended as representatives of the graduates, showed facial images on the display, and went to the graduation ceremony. Newmi wears a cap and gown and moves through the graduation ceremony holding an awarded diploma.
