IBM Introduces Search Service to Support Corona 19 Research

Several companies are supporting researchers for Corona 19, which is raging around the world. Although IBM is providing support such as analysis and research support using a supercomputer, it has newly introduced an in-depth search service to support Corona 19 research.

This service is a collection of information released by the White House, research papers, and the latest data of 13,335 Corona 19 cases obtained from DrugBank, a large-scale drug database. By entering keywords in the search screen, information can be extracted from a vast amount of data.

Machine-learned AI is used to cook information and quickly derive necessary information. IBM says it can add 100,000 PDF files per day. In addition, the platform (IBM Functional Genomics Platform) was also opened for free only during the Corona 19 epidemic. This service is a cloud-based research tool that aggregates virus and bacterial genetic information. It is used in a wide range of fields such as new drug development and medical application design, so it is expected to be used in the field of Corona 19 research.

IBM has already discovered COVID-19 treatment candidates and is sharing information about these new drug candidates under an open license. Efforts are being made to deal with the corona 19 incident, which is causing serious damage worldwide. Related information can be found here .

I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
