Uber launches US driver job search support

Due to the spread of Corona 19 infection, movement restrictions or curfew are being enforced in each country. In the midst of this, the jobs of drivers who take shared vehicle driving as their profession are sharply decreasing. To improve this, Uber introduced its support site, Work Hub. Beginning to help American drivers find work for other companies.

Uber is urged to provide economic assistance to drivers already diagnosed with COVID-19 infection by the 14th, and to include its drivers and delivery agents in relief for unemployed people suffering from income problems under the Trump administration. Uber also recruits logistics companies to more than 240,000 registered drivers with commercial licenses. Since mid-March, orders for restaurants have increased significantly, so they are encouraged to subscribe to the Uber Eats food delivery service. Workhub is currently only available in the US, but the UK also announced that it has partnered with an online shopping mall (Ocado) to help drivers find work.
