Atari and Chinese arcade game company UNIS have announced Mini Pong Jr, a miniaturized PONG table case, a hit game of the past. It takes the shape of a table case, but the screen size is 7.9 inches, and it is a form that two people can play on the table.
At the time of CES in 2019, the two companies jointly developed an analog pong that hits a cube-shaped ball moving on a table with a cuboid racket. This time, it was commercialized in a desktop size. The mini case with a 7.9-inch LCD display can be enjoyed anywhere using AA batteries in addition to a volume controller and USB power that can be held with a finger.
Details and pricing for Mini Pong Junior will be announced by Atari soon. The launch period is the peak season at the end of 2020, and Eunice will sell it in Asia and Arcade1UP will be selling it in North America. Related information can be found here .
