From a four-wheeled vehicle to a vertical takeoff and landing… Future emergency concept

To transport COVID-19 patients, Dassault Systèmes, a French 3D design and software engineering company, launched eVTOL, which can transform a four-wheeled vehicle into a quadcopter, and the E-Way Rescue Roadster, a vertical takeoff and landing aircraft concept. Devised.

At first glance, it feels like a futuristic car featuring airless tires on a scuba diving full face mask. Arms that support propellers are included next to the vehicle body and are designed to spread back and forth, left and right when flying.

This concept design is the result of a team of engineers and doctors thinking about how to safely and quickly transport COVID-19 patients.
