Twitter Begins Official Test of Money Transfer Function

Twitter announced on May 7th (local time) that it has begun testing the Tip Jar, a new feature that makes it easy to transfer chips.

Twitter has announced that this feature will be tested at the end of February. Afterwards, a clue was found that it was testing in-house on Twitter, but it was officially announced this time. A tip-only button has been added to a user profile with this feature enabled, allowing other users to easily send money at the push of a button. The tip complex is a structure that allows recipients to specify the desired remittance method, such as being able to connect to payment methods such as Bandcamp, Patreon, PayPal, Venmo and Cash App.

To check if the tip complex in your account is active, go to your Twitter application profile and hit the Change button. If you see a tip jar in the options, log in to one of the available payment services and connect.

The tip complex is separate from Super Follow, a paid feature that allows creators to provide special content in exchange for money, and testing began first. Competition over attractive creators is intensifying, with social media such as YouTube, TikTok, and Club House providing remittance methods. Such an attempt could be important to Twitter to prevent churn. Related information can be found here.

I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
