Flatcat is a pet cat robot introduced by Jetpack Cognition Lab, a startup located in Berlin, Germany. I said it was a cat robot, but there aren’t really cats. The function is a form that simply moves or bends when touched, and it is easy to assume that there is not much movement because there are no legs. However, it is quite moving because it can crawl like an earthworm.
Normally, if you say it’s a pet, you might think that you’ll make it resemble a cat with the goal of a lovely appearance, but the flat cat seems to be focusing on the petting side. Related information can be found here.
