U.S. large movie theater chain “will support payment of crypto assets in sequence”

AMC Theaters, a large American movie theater chain, has made it clear that it will sequentially start payment methods for crypto assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.

AMC Theaters announced in August 2021 that it would introduce a payment system that would allow Bitcoin to be used for payments at tickets and kiosks by the end of 2021. Accordingly, AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron announced that he has confirmed his policy to accept not only Bitcoin, but also Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.

As for the real-life use of crypto assets, credit card giant Mastercard is planning to respond in 2021. Similarly, credit card giant Visa is also reviewing the introduction of bitcoin payments, and PayPal is already accepting crypto asset payments.
