Apple has been adopting Intel processors in its Macs for a long time, but in 2020 it announced Apple Silicon, an independently developed processor. Apple thus ended its breakup with Intel processors. Intel recently released a video (Breaking the Spell: Social Experiment) and compared PCs and Macs with Intel processors.
The video introduces six experimental themes. But the reaction is that Intel has recreated the stingy advert, saying that almost all of what Intel calls new technology and innovation is outdated, and Intel is also bragging about technology you’d see in laptops with chips from rival AMD’s. They are criticizing Intel’s video, saying, “Who can convince me to watch a video full of people acting like they don’t exist?” The video released on October 4 has been played over 70,000 times.
