SpaceX’s next goal, which recently made its first vertical landing with the SN15, a Starship prototype, is to launch this large spacecraft into orbit.
According to data submitted to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the Starship equipped with a Super Heavy booster will be launched from the SpaceX facility located in Texas as before, and the aircraft will be orbited over the Florida Strait and then to Hawaii It descends after 90 minutes in the sea 100km northwest. Meanwhile, the super-heavy booster side splits off three minutes after takeoff and plans to launch into Mexico one step ahead.
This can be a big step forward for SpaceX, which has repeatedly failed in the process of landing numerous prototypes until the successful landing of the Starship SN15. If successful, starships in the future could pave the way for astronauts to the moon or even Mars in the future.
This flight will also be an important opportunity to show the world that NASA was right in choosing Starship as the lunar lander under the Artemis program, believing in the development of SpaceX. This is because Blue Origin and Dynamics, which competed with SpaceX for the development of the lunar lander, are raising their voices of criticism over NASA’s choice.
