Terra is a lawn mower robot announced by iRobot. I-Robot is a well-known maker of robot cleaner Roomba. Terra is a product that is used outdoors. It also has a smart mapping function that automatically detects the width of the garden area and obstacle location, and arranges the grass efficiently. Of course if you do not have enough battery, you can go back to the charging station automatically like a roomba.
Tera seems to be working with iRobot Home app like Rumba. You can set the desired grass height, which allows you to schedule to mow the lawn at any time of the day or night.
One of the interesting features is that you can set up a wireless signal on the gardens and all the places attached to it so that Terra does not cross the border. It is a kind of wireless beacon. The mower manufacturer HUSQVARNA also introduced the AUTOMOWER 315X, but it needed to physically pile, wire between, and set the border to a range of 152m. But terra is only a pile giving signals to the border.
