Trijicon Ventus is a smart monocular introduced by Trijicon. Trizicon is a company that provides rifle aiming systems for shooting and hunting, and combat equipment for the US Marine Corps and government agencies. The Trigeconventus is a monocle that displays data such as wind direction and wind speed in 3D vision with a built-in rider.

This product can read 458m wind in any weather at a glance up to 4.57km ahead. Headwind, forward wind, crosswind, and vertical wind can be measured in 6 steps. The technology used here is Doppler Rider. It is a type of rider and observes the frequency shift caused by the Doppler effect. With this technology, TrigConventus can obtain wind information by measuring the Doppler effect with the laser wavelength irradiated by the rider to reflect how the motion of particulate matter in the air is reflected.
In the case of the upper model, it observes the temperature, air pressure, inclination angle, the location of the user and the target, and transmits the data to the smartphone through Bluetooth. Not only that, but also the durability has passed the military standard MIL-STD-810G standard. It can withstand extreme Alaska and Africa, and has passed drop and submersion tests.
The release is scheduled for late 2020. Related information can be found here .
