ExoMars, which was co-hosted by the European Space Agency’s ESA with Russia’s state-owned space development company Rosscosmos, originally launched a rocket carrying the Mars rover, Rosalind Franklin, this summer, arriving on Mars next year and life on the surface. In addition, in order to reach Mars from Earth at the shortest distance, the rocket must be launched in Homann orbit. If this summer is missed, the next Homann orbit must be aimed. Then, the timing is between August and October 2022. As much as this has to be postponed, reaching Mars has to wait until 2023.
